Virginia Horse Boarding Stables

The stables at Freedom Fields Farm offer horse boarding facilities in eight 12 x 12 stalls, five of which have semi-private turnout paddocks. All our large, airy, oak-lined stalls have rubber mats and a generous portion of shavings, which are changed twice a day. The wash stall has hot & cold water and the heated tack room has washer & dryer. Horses boarding with us have use of paddocks ranging in size from ½ to 3 acres which have oak board fencing on the perimeters. Centaur 3-rail vinyl on the interior paddocks provides ultimate safety. We have a grassed jump area, for exercising and there are miles of trails available for hacking. Horses need each others company to be happy and relaxed so there are ample opportunities for socializing. If, however, you prefer to keep your horses segregated, this too can be arranged.

As well as the horse boarding facilities at the Farm, there is also a 2-stall barn available for the use of guests staying at nearby Freedom Cottage. In addition to our long and short term boarding residents, we often have select horses for sale in the barn. The upper level of the barn is a studio apartment, available for long or short term rental.
